The product is incomparably awesome. I recently moved to Kaslo and had the pleasure of meeting the delightful Kaslo Sourdough family. I asked them why they started the business. They told be it was because when they came over from Germany the one thing they were disappointed with was the bread⊠so they made their own but did not want to keep it to themselves. This is the family to a tee. They are such giving people and they not only have an excellent product and business, but they also give generously to their community. We are so lucky to have them!
Small, rural communities depend on supporting local. That is so easy to do when your local products are the BEST! Some people think small communities have nothing to offer but they are wrong! World class pasta that tastes delicious!!
Kaslo Sourdough pasta is the only pasta I serve. They had me at sourdough but the buckwheat, hemp, and spelt pasta has kept me coming back. I watch the quality of carbohydrates that I eat and serve, and fermented high fibre Kaslo pasta ticks all the boxes for me. It is easy to cook and easy to add to any meal I create. Such a bonus that it is made in BC. I order by the case.

Love their pasta, and donât feel like I need to take a 2-hour nap after eating it. It cooks quickly. Their millet variation is amazing; it tastes and has the texture of normal pasta, but with a protein boost. Itâs a luxury item for us at $15/packet but itâs definitely a great option to have on hand when I need a quick and nutritious meal.
