Ingredients:

Servings: 2-3 | Prep time: 10 minutes | Cook time: 15 minutes

  • 160 grams Kaslo Sourdough Quinoa Pasta
  •  1 lb. ground turkey
  • ½ medium onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp. chilli powder
  • ¼ tsp. onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • pepper to taste
  • 2/3 water + 1 tbsp. arrowroot powder

Instructions:

  1. Boil water with a pinch of salt, add pasta and cook to desired firmness (5-8 minutes)
  2. Fry ground turkey and chopped onion in 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  3. When turkey is cooked through, add spices
  4. Mix water with arrowroot powder then add to turkey and spices, simmer
  5. When the pasta has finished cooking, drain and combine with ground turkey mixture
  6. Serve with cheese, sour cream, salsa, tomatoes and top with scallions
